Foyle
The Foyle is a mechanical latch system designed for facilities requiring controlled access and emergency lock-down capability. It is typically used in high-risk or secure environments, where free egress must be maintained during normal operation and lock-down events.
The Foyle provides controlled day-to-day access with free egress via a lever handle. The red lock-down button primes the security bolts to deploy automatically when the door closes, disabling access control entry while maintaining external key override.
Manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel, the Foyle is suited for corrosive or demanding environments. The system meets a range of international security and life-safety certifications.

- Access control for day-to-day latch securing
- Red-button activates rapid lockdown:
Fires anti-siege/security bolt(s)
Disables access control entry - Clear visual lockdown status indication
- Bolt and deadlocking status monitoring
- Single-action emergency egress at all times
- 15 mm (5/8") security bolts with 25 mm (1") throw
- Based on the Surelock McGill Slimline design for proven strength and longevity
- Grade 316 stainless steel construction for hostile environments and durability
- Infinite Restraint - continuous security bolt(s) retention prevents lock and frame impact during operation
- 12V or 24V DC fail secure
- Fixings & keeps provided as standard
- In case of power failure or compromised access control, access can still be granted via key override (if requested)
- Cylinder guard protection available from our tested and accredited range
