Continued Product Innovation
and Added Value

Over many decades, Surelock McGill has manufactured and supplied Multi-point locking systems in mild steel as standard. When a customer's requirements included corrosion resistance, the same system was offered in 316 Stainless Steel for an added charge.

Surelock McGill has heavily invested in new tooling and manufacturing equipment to now manufacture our Slimline systems fully from 316 Grade Stainless Steel and in a much more cost effective manner.

Beginning October 1, 2020 all Slimline orders will include a brushed stainless finish at no additional cost.

Specification

Now that the Slimline is manufactured in 316 Grade Stainless Steel as standard, Surelock McGill offers the most comprehensive and cost effective security hardware against blast, ballistic, and forced entry attacks.

Engineers and architects can now specify a single part number for any environment whether a system is for a decorative office door or an exit door on an offshore oil rig, the finish and durability remains the same.

Life-Safety

Surelock McGill continues to balance the need for operational flexibility, physical security, and life safety. Whether the end user prefers a round-tube 316 Grade Stainless Steel panic bar*, or an extruded aluminum push plate*, both systems are UL 305 listed for emergency escape and fire rated up to 3 hours for UL 10C.

*A system operator will be supplied with each Slimline locking system however the preferred operator must be clearly specified at the time of order.

Choosing the Right Product

The manufacturing material and finish are important considerations when determining the durability of a locking system. The Slimline system continues to be internally tested to over 1,000,000 cycles.

By producing the Slimline systems in 316 Grade Stainless steel at no additional charge, end users can count on a higher value and lessen the environmental impact by taking advantage of extended product life.
