Security-Tested Locks
Many door manufacturers work to meet the rigorous LPS 1175 standard, based on customer demand and the benefits of achieving a recognised security level. Surelock McGill’s single-point and multi-point locks have successfully resisted attacks for ratings up to Issue 8 Security Rating G20 (when tested as part of a complete doorset) and can help doorsets achieve a wide range of security certifications. These include LPS 1673, FEBR, EN 1627, and PAS 24, as well as certifications for blast and ballistic resistance.
Safe Refuge Rooms
No matter where you are, there is always a possibility of theft or assault, particularly if you carry high-value items. Surelock McGill has worked with a number of door manufacturers to build safe rooms in domestic settings. High-security mortice-fitted multi-point devices provide a secure, aesthetically pleasing solution that offers flexibility for entry and exit methods and the ability to fit your own lever handle sets. As an alternative, the Foyle system offers a rapid lockdown solution, allowing you to quickly secure yourself in a safe space and to easily exit when ready.
Vision Panels
Standard vision panels can be a weak point in a building’s security line. Surelock McGill offers three standard sizes that meet the Equality Act’s criteria and have been successfully tested at ratings up to LPS 1175: Issue 8 Security Rating E10 (SR5), as part of a complete doorset.
