At Surelock McGill we have experienced a global rise in interest for our high quality, traditional, & unique rise & fall hinges, originally designed for the rugged off-shore oil & gas platforms. Our latest manufacturing capability brings further improvements to this classic design for even smoother operation and long term-durability.
Designed originally for a plain lift-off hinge fitted top & bottom to support the moment force of the door, whilst a high quality single rise & fall hinge fitted centrally to provide the lift and fall action allows the door to return to it's original position. Each hinge fitted with a grease lubrication nipple to simplify maintenance. This combination of hinges resolved the almost impossible fitting tolerance of two rise & fall hinges acting simultaneously.
