Happy National Apprenticeship Week!

At Surelock McGill we work hard to create an environment where aspiring engineers have the opportunity to develop and grow the unique skillset required to design and manufacture our specialist security solutions.

This all starts with our apprenticeship programme! We strongly believe an apprenticeship is a great way to learn by doing and begin the journey of developing a career in engineering. In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, we thought we’d shine the spotlight on one of our current apprentice engineers, Josh.

For Josh, starting an apprenticeship with Surelock McGill was a great way to kickstart his career in engineering. He was enticed by the challenge and the hands-on environment.

By working alongside the experienced engineers within Surelock McGill, Josh continues to develop new skills across a variety of manufacturing and engineering processes, in a hands-on, practical environment. We are really proud of his personal development with us, gaining skills across a variety of machinery and building confidence to put these new capabilities into practice. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for him!

We care about the growth of all of our staff at Surelock McGill, learning at a steady pace is key to the long-term success of our apprentices. Therefore, we make sure anyone who has chosen to learn alongside our team receives plenty of support and has the opportunity to develop their skills at a pace that works for them.

We are grateful for everyone who has chosen us for their education, and are extremely proud of the young generation of engineers who work with us. If you know anyone who would be interested in an engineering apprenticeship role, please reach out to us on the details below:
