Expanding the Surelock McGill Product Range
This year, we launched our Touch Bar for the mortise Slimline, delivering single-motion panic and emergency egress while preserving the Slimline’s ballistic, blast, and forced entry resistance. The mechanical and motorized bolt retraction versions are available to order today, with the delayed egress version following in early 2026.
In July, we attended the annual Protection in High Threat Environments course hosted by Stone Security Engineering for the sixth time. The program combined classroom instruction with hands-on, live demonstrations, providing a valuable opportunity to test and showcase our solutions in real-world conditions.
We’d like to thank our partners, Norshield and Harden, for supplying multi-threat-resistant doors that allowed us to demonstrate our flagship Slimline multi-point locking system, Touch Bar life safety device, and Tyne heavy-duty single-point lock. All three products performed exceptionally well, withstanding demanding forced entry and ballistic testing while still delivering reliable single-motion egress.
After years of extensive design, development, and internal testing, we worked with Underwriters Laboratories to test and certify the mortise Slimline to UL 305 and BHMA 156.3 Grade 1 for 1 million cycles.
We had a great three days exhibiting at the Global Security Exchange in New Orleans. Our booth featured the Slimline, Touch Bar, MICO Zeus, and our upcoming HT hinge range. We enjoyed connecting with familiar faces and new contacts. We look forward to building on those conversations and returning next year with our latest security solutions.
