Flood and Acoustic Doors:

Both of these areas have unique challenges but a common need to pull the door into an air or water-resistant seal. This can be achieved by using a manually bolted multi-point lock with angle leads or a roller bolt with a tapered strike.  These highly customizable bolt and strike configurations do not affect the Slimline’s ability to meet the end user’s operational requirements.

Heritage/Safe Refuge Doors:

The need to make sure that a replacement door matches the existing architectural design while increasing the security level can cause compromises. To combat this, we produce mortise mounted, high security multi-point devices that are aesthetically pleasing with a combination of operational features. A similar approach is taken with Safe Room doors where you may have a need to quickly secure yourself in a room without making it obvious. Again, a mortise mounted multi-point lock is an integral component to this solution.

Oversized Doors:

The challenge of adequately securing oversized doors can be challenging, but the use of extension kits allows Surelock McGill multi-point systems to overcome this.   Additional auxiliary bolting units can be added to help stabilize the door and maintain security and pressure resistance.  The rack and pinion design of the lock ensures that vey little motion is lost between the lever or panic bar and all of the bolts, even with these oversized applications.
