Gated access points form the outermost skin of a security plan and therefore become a critical part of delaying entry and deterring intruders.  Allowing time for planned response to security threats is critical to ensure that threats are mitigated before they reach a critical area inside the facility.

Gates and gate locks are not all created equal and many sites are still using out-dated and exploitable locking systems.  To provide a resilient security solution, locking mechanisms should be a permanent integration into or onto the gate.

With the need to maximize space within security vehicles, there is sometimes no alternative but to use a sliding door. The Surelock McGill Moorgate is a hook lock specifically designed for use on sliding doors,  It has two hooks that automatically throw and secure holding the door closed.  The Moorgate can be operated in several ways including key, solenoid or motorized giving flexibility in its operation.

Surelock McGill offers high security single and multi-point gate locks that are manufactured from 316 Grade Stainless Steel which makes them perfectly suited for even the harshest environments.  The forced entry and ballistic properties provide physical attack resistance, and there are many configurations that prevent manipulation including anti-fishing handles and lever guards.
