Panic Exit:

Safe escape routes from a fire lead to exterior doors.  In a high security environment, these openings may require the highest level of protection against multiple threats.  Surelock McGill’s hardware does not compromise when it comes to free egress and physical security.  We can provide a complete range of single and multi-point systems that are UL 305 listed.

Fire Rated: 

Surelock McGill’s Traditional and Slimline multi-point locking systems are UL 10C rated up to 3 hours on a 10-foot door.  This provides a specifier or end user a wide range of possibilities to incorporate forced entry, ballistic, blast, and life safety requirements into their building design.

Delayed Egress:

There has been a trend of attacks using escape doors to ‘Grab & Run-Out’ with high value goods. Surelock McGill provide an emergency exit system to combat this that offers a pre-set delay prior to releasing the bolts. The Slimline system with delayed egress controls exit from the building through escape doors to a thief but will revert back to its panic exit status in the case of fire alarm activation.

Motorized Bolt Retraction:

The American’s with Disabilities Act of 1990 has begun expanding its influence into the industrial and government world that has long been excluded from its requirements. 

Surelock McGill has designed and manufactured single and multi-point locks that incorporate a motorized system to fully retract every locking point allow for an automatic door operator to open and close the door without assistance from a disabled person.

There are also areas where blast resistant doors are very heavy and create are cumbersome to open.  All of our motorized bolt retraction system can be configured as passage, keylocking, or electronic access control with lever or panic bar operators.

Automated Door Operators (ADO's):

Mutli-threat doors are heavy, and they require a special Automatic Door Operator for optimal performance.  Surelock McGill offers robust, specialty automatic door operators that can operate doors in excess of 700 pounds, are field programmable, and work in concert with all of our locking systems with motorized bolt retraction.
