Public spaces such as railway station platforms, stadiums, and community hubs with access to specific areas will always require restricted and controlled access, to prevent unauthorised entry.
For example, communal access points are required for residents of flats to ensure their bins or bikes are stored securely without the risk of vandalism or theft.
Common security procedures such as issuing keys to personnel or residents can present a security risk when keys are lost, copied or not returned to the facilities management.
The Eden provides mechanical coded access as an entry solution without the need for keys and is ideal for environments that are not practical for electrical connections, such as external doors and gates.
Introducing The Eden
At Surelock McGill we have developed a high security, mechanical coded access, lockable handle that is an ideal enhancement for the Slimline and Stirling range of locking systems, to grant controlled, keyless entry.
The first of its kind, this robust, mechanically coded handle is tested and certified up to LPS 1175 B3 (SR2)* withstanding attempts of forced entry and providing an ideal solution when both life safety and security needs must be met.
The Eden has two modes of operation, and by using the key cylinder, administrators can switch between Code Access and Free Access when needed, with no electrical connections required in order to operate.
Code Access

Code Access mode locks off the handle and requires a 1-13 character combination to gain entry.
Free Access

Free Access mode allows users access via the handle at all times, to all users.
