Slimline Delayed Egress
The Surelock McGill Slimline Delayed Egress system is a multi-threat multi-point bolting system with a time delay facility that addresses the issue of opportunistic ‘run-out’ theft through a fire escape door. In addition the Delayed Egress allows for a connection with a fire detection system, avoiding a potential compromise in safety.

operations
Optional Entry - No entry as standard. If key entry required please contact our technical department.
Exit - Operating the panic bar activates an alarm (If wired to integrated system) and a timer but does not allow immediate exit. After the time delay (configurable 6 to 60 seconds) the panic bar can be operated, allowing free exit. In the event of fire alarm or power cut the system will allow immediate egress. Upon door closure the bolts will automatically engage and secure. The alarm is reset by a key switch.
