Locks:
Doors and frame are routinely tested against ballistic attacks, but locking hardware should not be ignored. The integrity of the door set, as a system, is in jeopardy if the hardware will unlock or malfunction after a ballistic event. Surelock McGill’s single and multipoint locks have been rigorously tested up UL Level 10 (.50 Cal Rifle)
Cylinders:
Mechanical key cylinders are gatekeeper to any door set. If their integrity is compromised after a ballistic attack, then the entire system has failed. Surelock McGill’s cylinder guards not only protect against ballistic shots up to UL Level 10 (.50 Cal Rifle), they are also certified against brutal physical attacks.
Vision:
Steel doors provide a high level of physical security but there are situations where an opaque opening is not permitted due to aesthetics, access for disabled persons, or security situations where vision is required out of a secured space. Surelock McGill offers vision panels that will fit most door sizes as well as door viewers that are rated up to UL level 9 (UL 7.62 armor piercing).
